Outside, the rain fell even more vigorously, splitting the world in two: one in the endless curtain of rain, the other in this restaurant brimming with the aroma of hot pot.
At this rate, I'm afraid I won't be able to go back home today. The hot pot restaurant owner set up a projection screen and played a black-and-white movie. The faint rustle of film reels could be heard.
I've been to countless places, but Rome is my favorite.
Chun'er knew the movie so well she could memorize every line. She rested her face on one hand and watched it intently for a while.
