Chapter 5: Internal and External Troubles

Today marks the third day of Rhodes Island's southward journey to the Agor region. After passing through a desert, Rhodes Island finally entered the Syracuse region.

Compared to the previous desert, upon entering Syracuse, scattered villages can be seen. While still sparse compared to the entire desert, compared to the previous desolate landscape, at least people can be seen outside of Rhodes Island.

Syracuse isn't a suitable place for a long stay. According to information Rhodes Island has gathered, numerous mafia-style organizations exist in the region, effectively ruling the region.

Conspiracies and conflicts between the various mafia groups are constantly unfolding here; this is a war-mongering mafia state.

When the route plan was previously announced, several Rhodes Island operators who had previously come from Syracuse suggested driving quickly through the region to prevent Rhodes Island from being affected by the conflict.
