Wei Xin received a note of leave from the captain, but a serious problem arose.

She didn't know where her home was.

She stood in the hallway for a few seconds, then glanced around and saw a restroom sign up ahead. With an idea in mind, she hurried into the restroom.

As soon as she entered the toilet stall, Wei Xin pulled the silver bracelet Dr. Huang had given her from her pocket and slipped it on her wrist.

A string of characters flashed across the bracelet: "Powered on."

Then the characters automatically changed to the time: 7:38 PM. It was as if it were just an ordinary electronic bracelet displaying the time.

Like an elderly person who had just gotten a smartphone and was out of touch with the times, Wei Xin sat on the toilet seat, fiddling with it for a long time, unable to figure out how to use it.

"Help... Why don't the buttons on this bracelet have any bumps?" Wei Xin, sweating profusely, finally understood the feeling of seniors struggling in a high-tech world. She could only fumble with the bracelet, trying to discover its functions.

She tapped the side. "Biometric information confirmed." The bracelet flashed onto a projection screen, displaying its various functions.

"Signal blocking, instant messaging, encrypted networking, location tracking, automatic destruction..." Wei Xin checked each one, feeling a wave of fear. "Press and hold the power button for three seconds and throw it. Is it as powerful as a miniature bomb?"
